Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our candles, orders and care.
General FAQs
Our candles are crafted from a premium soy wax blend – a clean-burning, vegan, and sustainably sourced material.
We use high-quality fragrance oils and carefully selected wooden and cotton wicks, chosen to provide a clean, even burn and an optimal fragrance experience.
Each candle is hand-poured in small batches in our studio in Switzerland.
Our candles contain approximately 220g of wax and have a burn time of around 40–50 hours, depending on usage and environmental conditions. To maximise burn time and ensure optimal performance, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before each use and allow a full melt pool to form during the first burn. This helps prevent tunnelling and promotes an even burn throughout the life of the candle.
We craft our candles using carefully selected, high-quality ingredients:
100% natural soy wax, non-GMO and sustainably sourced, chosen for its clean burn and ability to beautifully showcase every fragrance note.Premium fragrance oils, developed in collaboration with expert perfumers and free from phthalates and CMR substances.Wooden wicks made from reclaimed wood, providing a gentle, even burn and a soft, comforting crackle.

Yes. All of our candles are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and free from parabens. Our fragrance oils contain no animal-derived ingredients and are never tested on animals.
We are committed to creating products that are both high-quality and ethically made.
Our candles are made with fragrance oils that comply with IFRA safety standards for human use.
However, some fragrance compounds may be sensitive or potentially harmful to certain animals, particularly cats and birds.
For this reason, we recommend burning candles in a well-ventilated area and keeping them out of reach of pets. If you have any concerns about your pet's sensitivity to fragrances, we recommend consulting your veterinarian.
All of our candles are hand-poured in small batches. As a result, slight variations in colour, texture, or surface appearance may occur. These natural differences are a hallmark of artisan craftsmanship and do not affect the quality or performance of the candle.
Each candle is unique and made with care.
No. Our candles do not have an expiry date. When stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, they will maintain their quality for many years.
In fact, allowing a candle to rest before burning can be beneficial. As the wax and fragrance continue to settle over time, the candle may develop a more even, slower burn.
For the best fragrance experience, we recommend enjoying your candle within five years of purchase.
Our collection is inspired by emotional states — GROWTH, WARMTH, STILL, CLEAR, and GROUND.
Each candle is designed to evoke a particular feeling and support a meaningful moment of intention, reflection, or presence.
We believe that fragrance is one of the most powerful ways to influence mood and atmosphere. Every scent in our collection has been carefully crafted to help create the state of mind its name represents.

Candle care
Proper candle care helps ensure a clean, even burn and allows you to enjoy your candle for longer.
Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm. During the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the vessel to help prevent tunnelling. For best results, burn your candle for no more than 3–4 hours at a time.
Always keep the wax surface free from debris and place your candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts. Never leave a burning candle unattended.Following these simple steps will help you enjoy the best possible fragrance and burn experience.First burnOn first use, allow the candle to burn until the wax has melted all the way to the edges of the vessel. This helps prevent tunnelling and promotes an even burn throughout the life of the candle.Wick careBefore each use, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm. Whether your candle features a wooden wick or a cotton wick, regular trimming helps maintain a clean, steady flame and improves overall burn performance.Burning timeFor best results, burn your candle for 2–4 hours at a time, allowing the wax surface to melt evenly. Avoid excessively long burn sessions.Burn timeWith proper care, our 220g candles offer a burn time of up to 50 hours, depending on usage and environmental conditions.SafetyAlways place your candle on a heat-resistant surface and keep it away from drafts, curtains, children, and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Discontinue use when approximately 5–10 mm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.
For the best fragrance experience and to maintain the quality of the burn, we recommend using a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame.
If you do not have a snuffer, you may gently blow out the flame. Allow the candle to cool completely before replacing the lid.Important: Do not extinguish the candle by placing the lid over the flame. This can create condensation that may be absorbed by the wick, making it more difficult to relight. It can also cause the wax to retain smoke, which may affect the fragrance during future burns.
Both wooden and cotton wicks benefit from regular maintenance to ensure a clean, even burn.
Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm. If your candle goes out on its own or the flame becomes too small, allow the candle to cool, then gently trim the wick before relighting.
Taking a moment to care for the wick helps promote a steady flame, a more even burn, and the best possible fragrance experience throughout the life of your candle.
This is completely normal and is known as frosting. Frosting is a natural characteristic of soy wax and can occur over time as the wax crystallises.
It does not affect the fragrance, burn quality, or performance of your candle in any way. In fact, frosting is often considered a sign that a candle is made with natural soy wax rather than synthetic wax blends.
Each candle is unique, and these subtle variations are part of the beauty of working with natural materials.
Our vessels are designed to be enjoyed long after the final burn. Durable, timeless, and beautifully crafted, they are perfect for repurposing around the home.To clean your vessel:Place the empty candle jar in the freezer for 1–2 hours.Once frozen, any remaining wax should shrink and lift out easily.Wash the vessel with warm, soapy water and allow it to dry thoroughly.Once cleaned, your vessel can be reused in countless ways — from storing small treasures and everyday essentials to displaying dried flowers, makeup brushes, or other decorative items.Giving your vessel a second life is a simple way to extend its usefulness and reduce waste.
All of our candles are carefully handcrafted and hand-poured in Switzerland.
By producing in small batches, we are able to maintain the highest standards of quality and ensure that every candle receives the attention it deserves.
